Design Goes Beyond Beauty

You need interior spaces that are functional, and serve your purpose.  My early design employment was within architectural practice, including work on sustainable housing and heritage buildings, and I apply this understanding to all projects.  I love working with colour and décor, but I always consider architectural context and layout so that your interiors make the best use of natural light and connections with outside space.

Highlights and Calm

You want a design that feels cohesive and maximises your budget’s impact.  I feel that as in art and music, the highlights within a design scheme are amplified and made more satisfying by the more restrained intervals between.  I identify the elements that will elevate and distinguish your interiors, advising where budget is spent for greatest effect while ensuring the overall design remains coherent.
